| When I
operate LiveSite, some of the content
does not come out in paragraphs and easy
to read text, how can I fix this? |
| Increase your
content
segment minimal length in
your profile
Site Content Settings.
This will force LiveSite to look for
longer related sentences and will filter
out unwanted stand alone text. |
| |
| Can
LiveSite create highly targeted pages
such as news subjects? |
| Yes! You can use celebrity
names, recent events, places, and themes
to build content. LiveSite will
even be able to find content on late
breaking news! |
| |
| How Do
I Build My Own Templates? |
| I have put together a section on
this subject. Please refer to "Building
Templates". |
| |
| I'm
having trouble understanding how
Keywords work? |
| This section can be a little
confusing but I will try to explain it
to the best of my ability.
LiveSite uses keywords to target related
content. In addition to this
keyword LiveSite also uses keyword
sectors to help further identify related
content. I will use a reverse
example to help you understand a little
better. Let us say for example
that we wanted to find content related
to loans made in the automobile
industry. If I said the keyword
'loan' then it would find loans relating
to cars, homes, personal, credit cards
and student loans -- loans of every
kind. Now what LiveSite does is it
allows you to give it a sector which is
a fancy way of saying 'a little more
description'. This sector is a
word that would be commonly found in the
same paragraph as the keyword. So,
for our automobile example, we would say
the sector is 'auto'. This would
make LiveSite eliminate any content that
does not have the word auto somewhere in
its corresponding content. So let
me give you a few more examples...
if I said 'cell phone' and I wanted to
target prepaid accounts, then my sector
would be 'prepaid'. If I said
medical then I might say the sector is
'dental'. Now, if I said 'dental'
-- then I could also say the sector is
'medical' and this would target more of
dental health and not just cavities.
If I said BBQ Chips and said the sector
was 'fat' then it would only pull
content that talked about the nutrient
side of chips and not chip promotion.
I hope this helps clarify the usage of
sectors. Now if you are really
confused with all of this then there is
an easy solution -- make the keyword and
the sector the same. This hurts
content targeting a lot but it does get
the job done as well. |

| Can I
use the Global Cross Linking Feature
With Adult Sites? |
| No, you cannot cross link adult
sites using LiveSite. Cross
linking with sites with adult content
cause us to disable your LiveSite
software without notice. NO ADULT
CONTENT allowed when using Global Cross
Linking. The reason for this is
simple: other users don't want, or have
permission, to put adult content on
their website. This hurts everyone
and we cannot allow it. When you
use global cross linking your
registration ID is carried to the server
so we can tell who lists what and when
we get a complaint that someone cross
links undesired content then we will
have to terminate their LiveSite usage.
We do allow users to use LiveSite to
create adult sites but they are not
allowed to use global cross linking. |

| What
Is Kick For Best Results? |
| Things don't always go the way its
planned. This is a little feature
that helps LiveSite along by giving it a
good swift 'kick' every give minutes.
But seriously, besides having a funny
name it actually has a good function --
it clears and resets all sorts of little
things in the software that can get
jammed up and cause the program to go
ideal for hours on end. When its
active you have a better chance of
leaving the software unattended and it
maintaining productivity. In
special cases you would not want this
feature on but most users will.
Having this feature active reduces
productivity by about 10-15% so if you
are baby sitting the software then turn
it off and it will produce more faster
but do not leave it unattended when its
not active. |
